AHS COUNSELLING
MY PROFILE
My name is Ann Hodges-Smith and I am a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist. I am a Registered Member of the BACP
(British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I work within the BACP Ethical Framework to ensure good practice at all times.
I spent many years working at a supervisory/management level within the retail industry, having responsibility for various duties and personnel. Working with colleagues and members of the public from all walks of life. I have also dedicated many years to raising a family. Along the way I have encountered and witnessed many hurdles, and it is these valuable experiences that lead me to pursue a vocation where I could actively help and support people utilising my wealth of life skills along the way.
As a result I embarked on a career as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist.
I currently have a private practice in Southend-On-Sea, Essex and am also a bereavement volunteer and counselling supervisor for the Cruse Bereavement organisation.
